Well apparently D’s doing all kinds of stuff at school that his teachers and therapists have not mentioned. I had a parent-teacher conference and:

• D can make a “SSSSSSS” sound (and he knows it’s an S, he’ll point to the letter and say SSSS, he also uses it for yes)
• D can make a “puh” sound
• D can sign red, blue, green, yellow, open, off, help

I’m sure they use more signs that haven’t been mentioned either. And yes, I totally cried when he did the “s” sound.

I see C’s teacher on Monday, maybe he’s doing stuff too. His teacher is better about communicating with parents though. I’m not real fond of D’s teacher.
