Vera!

Okay, so thanks to Kebsy, I have a Vera Bradley addiction. I want a new one, the Bali Blue is seriously adorable. I’m debating on a Libby, a Morgan, or an On The Go in that print. I just ordered some clearance stuff on her website last week, but Robert said he didn’t mind if I went and bought a new bag anyway – the last one I have is a Betsy in Mod Floral Blue, and that’s a 2007 print, and the clearance one I just got is in Night Owl, which of course is a fall print. I try to explain things like this to him, but all he hears is “blah blah new purse blah blah 60 bucks.” Then normally he does the usual male rhetoric of “You already have a bunch of purses, why do you need a new one?” and I try to explain to him about accessories and changing seasons/trends and new styles, but all he hears is “blah blah new purse blah blah 60 bucks.” So I’m quite pleased that this time his response to the blah blah is to go, “okay whatever babe, I know you have a substance abuse problem with purses.” Possibly this is because he doesn’t want me to explain the difference between spring and fall handbags again, but I’m okay with that.

So today we will be going out to the borders of Pungo to the one store on Southside that seems to actually HAVE the On The Go in Bali Blue, and an assortment of other bags in Bali Blue (Fiore in MacArthur has NONE! The savages!), which means we’ll probably stop in at Aunt Molly’s for a bit to say hi, and then we might just head down to the beach for a few, although it’s supposed to be quite chilly today. There’s another store in Virginia Beach that had a few Bali Blue stuff and swore they would order any bag I wanted, so if I don’t find what I want in Store A, we might hit Store B as well, since they were so nice about wanting my business.
