Moves in Curves

Just for the hell of it, I’ve been looking up birth charts on some relatives. I already knew mine, but I’ll include it. It’s interesting to see how it fits together as a family.

Me: Sun in Pisces, Aquarius rising, moon in Aries, Mercury in Pisces, Venus in Capricorn, Mars in Pisces.

Husband: He doesn’t know what time of day he was born (“Morning I think, maybe night” smh) so no rising on him. Sun in Scorpio, moon in Aries, Mercury and Venus in Scorpio, and Mars in Libra. That’s a whole lotta Scorpio. Aside from our Mars signs (Pisces and Libra? Sigh), we match up quite well. Although two moons in Aries… well, let’s just say it’s a good thing his Scorpio seems to dominate him.

The Twinadoes: Sun in Virgo, Aquarius rising, moon in Gemini, Mercury and Venus in Leo, and Mars in Virgo. They’re still pretty young, but they’re definitely showing their Virgoness and that moon in Gemini.

My mother: She could not be more Aries if she tried. Sun in Aries, Gemini rising, Moon in Leo, Mercury in Aries, Venus in Gemini, and Mars in Leo. She is pretty much an unstoppable force of nature and ALWAYS believes she’s right. There is no water tempering her chart. The only earth is an N. Node in Taurus. Heh.

Nephew: I don’t know what time of day he was born, so I don’t know his rising sign, but he’s a Capricorn, moon in Cancer (this did not surprise me), Mercury in Capricorn (also not surprising), Venus in Sagittarius, and Mars in Scorpio. Yep, that’s my nephew to a T, and he’s only 7, I’m sure he’ll get worse haha.

My niece is too brand-new to have shown anything yet (3 months old), but this is hers: Sun in Libra, Leo rising, moon in Sagittarius, Mercury and Venus in Libra, Mars in Leo. This should be epic vs. her dad (my brother) when she’s a teenager.

Older Sis: Sun in Pisces, Virgo rising, moon in Taurus, Mercury and Venus in Aries, Mars in Cancer.

Brother: Sun in Aries, Leo rising, moon in Scorpio, Merc and Venus in Pisces, and Mars in Aries. Heh. Yeah.

Little Sis: Sun in Scorpio, Gemini rising, moon in Capricorn, Merc in Scorpio, Venus in Sagittarius, Mars in Capricorn.

We seem to have a strong family tendency (Husband has it too) to have Mercury and Venus in the same sign. Interesting. I never noticed that before.
