No, not the band. Some pictures from the beach yesterday.

D got this toy as a speech therapy prize, a little plush monkey that’s oddly spherical. Both boys love this little thing. Its name is Bananas, and they have decided that it must be a girl because of the purple hands and ears. They built it a home out of Legos and added Lego men as dolls for her. They snuggle with it between them when they fall asleep. It’s really cute. So far they’ve been really good about not fighting over it. Hopefully that will last, or I’ll have to ask D’s speech therapist where she got it so I can buy another.

Quick trip to Washington D.C. today, hit the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian (the only one that matters, of course: the dinosaurs). Here are a few pics:

Somehow I never posted about my trip to Paris in March. Blogging fail. So, I may or may not get around to actually talking about it in depth, but here are some trip highlight photos. Locations included: Tour Eiffel, Musée du Louvre, Château de Vincennes, Musée de l’Armée, Musée du Cluny, Place de la Bastille, Arc de Triomphe, Assemblée Nationale, Versailles and grounds including the Grand and Petit Trianon, Montmartre including the Sacré Coeur and Moulin Rouge, Notre Dame, Père Lachaise cemetery, Tuileries, Invalides, and various spots along the Seine.
