Photos from the park today. We climbed on a very huge fallen tree, tramped through the brush on one of the small islands in the canal, and played on the playground. We also had a great discussion on archaeology, dendrochronology, growth rings on trees, and looked over the old graveyard.

Tricky Table Runner
This project looked so cute, I had to make one. I drafted the size based on our table, and used three fat quarters, a scrap of a fourth FQ, and a scrap of batting left over from the batting for the boys’ quilts.
