			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yeah, I&#8217;m still here. Went out of town for a while, too full of turkey and cheesecake to blog. Here&#8217;s a quick recap:</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="http://melialore.com/" target="_blank">Melia</a> and her family continue to be made entirely out of awesomesauce.</li>
<li>There are entirely too many tourists in Washington D.C.</li>
<li>Forks are hard to find, especially on a holiday weekend.</li>
<li>Riding the metro is much more fun for kids than for their supervising adults.</li>
<li><a href="http://melialore.com/2009/10/cheese-straws-and-tofu-bites/" target="_blank">Cheese straws</a> are like crack.</li>
<li>My kids will battle to the death for rainbow tie-dye underpants.</li>
</ul>
