What happens in London

It was Julia Quinn’s “What Happens In London”, and I really enjoyed it. It was just, quite simply, delightful. Light, not a terrible amount of plot aside from the relationship, but frankly that’s fine by me. The characters were very engaging, all very endearing. The situations were always cute and funny, and the dialogue was very amusing, I laughed most of the way through it. It’s got an Austen-esque sort of feel. Nothing trashy about it, a rather refreshing lack of sex through most of it – the characters fall in love with each other first, rather than the lust and then the love which is typical of romances these days. It’s just really lovely. I’m starting another one by this author, and I’m going to look for more.
